Like chefs, Degrenne crafts shapes and materials for all its tabletop products while paying particular attention to the notions of usage and aesthetics in order to make time spent at the table a moment dedicated to gastronomic pleasures and emotions, from the most simple to the most elaborate. In its porcelain for example, the sheer sensory pleasure of drinking tea and coffee is further enhanced by the aesthetic nature of the experience. Adopting the same approach, Degrenne offers a wide selection of cups, teapots and coffeepots designed to intensify the taste and enjoyment of connoisseurs, no matter when or where it is served.

With CATIA, modelling times are reduced, raw material cutting processes are optimised and CAM processes standardised. The manufacturer uses ENOVIA SmarTeam to manage its technical documents, keep them safe and safeguard its know-how. Exclusive UK distribution arrangements with Riedel and Guy Degrenne cutlery, along with 3 product launches a year has pushed the number of items available from Churchill to over a staggering 2500 lines. The introduction of more mixed materials such as wooden serving and display lines, melamine serving trays and glass items has also increased the number of products. New features will include complete table settings, buffet stations alongside range displays to help with selections and space to accommodate up to 12 guests at any one time. Sharon Heap Marketing Director said: "The new showroom is an excellent resource that showcases our entire range, which has been growing at a fast pace to keep in-line with market demands. Establishments want choice to create an individual ambience and we are well placed to offer products to suit all needs. We just needed a showroom that would do justice to these products and help businesses make the right choices for them." The new showroom will still be located at the iconic Business Design Centre in Islington and is open for business, although an official launch is scheduled for after the Olympics. With premier products in porcelain, glassware, ...and certainly metals for which they are well-known, Guy Degrenne brings a certain French élan that others only can hope to achieve. For instance, we love the overall aesthetic look of their new API porcelain platters (shown here). Guy Degrenne has a lot to offer restaurateurs at all levels - from a simple bistro concept to fine-dining white tablecloth restaurants (we know these still exist!) So, if you happen to find yourself at the upcoming NRA Show in Chicago, stop by booth #7245 Table de France - Guy Degrenne's supplier for North America. or You can visit the global Guy Degrenne site by going here: http://www.guydegrenne-hotel.com/ Guy Degrenne....a household name in hospitality tabletop in France and throughout most of Europe, for that matter. Yet, not so well known in North America. Here's a video describing Guy Degrenne - the company, it's history, and it's products - and, interestingly....how these products are manufactured. Yes...the video is in French but we think you'll enjoy it - and get a chance to practice a bit.
Oui? See the entire lineup of Guy Degrenne products from their international website, go here: http://www.guydegrenne-hotel.com/ In North America, Guy Degrenne is distributed by Table de France: http://www.tabledefrance.net/guy-degrenne.html One of the certainly most "under appreciated" of all the European brands that grace restaurant and hotel tabletops in the U.S. is the famed brand - Guy Degrenne. A leader in style and decor for more than 60 years in France and around the globe, the name Guy Degrenne has become a restaurant tabletop standard for flatware, glassware, and porcelain. With clean, sleek designs - whether in metal or porcelain - Guy Degrenne says to a restaurant's guests that they care enough to use the best professional products in their service. From contemporary to classic, shapes, styles, and designs from Guy Degrenne meet the highest standards for quality and design. Sylvain Dubuisson's SD1 porcelain dinnerware design for Guy Degrenne (above right) has both rounds and squares, enabling unique and nearly unlimited opportunities for combining and layering effects. The metal serving and tabletop accessories from Guy Degrenne share the same style genes as their porcelain and flatware counterparts. Being forged from quality and styled from fashion, restaurateurs and banqueting managers understand that to choose their products from Guy Degrenne, they are choosing products that are made to last and whose designs will remain relevant for years to come. So, while the Guy Degrenne brand has become a standard for professional quality in Europe, it is only beginning to be known in America. With the products being marketed under the Table de France banner and being stocked in New Jersey, industry veteran Jim Fagan leads the effort to expand the Guy Degrenne brand in America. The combination of style, quality, and global hospitality leadership makes in inevitable that as more restaurant professionals come to understand the Guy Degrenne story, they will make the choice that European chefs and restaurateurs have been making since 1948.
